SPB Time for iPhone goes well beyond built-in clock app

SPB Software released a new application in the AppStore – SPB Time. As you can imagine from its name, this app is all about the time, clock, alarms and so on. It builds on top of the built-in Clock app, while adding new features to the mix.

For instance, you can customize your “time experience” with any of 50+ free skins included. There are also moon phases, stopwatch and countdown timers, analog and digital clocks, as well as the scrollable calendar with weeks numbers. In addition — and this is where SPB Time really shines — there’s a much better (when compared to the default Clock app) alarm functionality.

You can pick between Classic, Paraniod and Bio alarms. The first mentioned is as simple as the one founded in the Clock app. The Paraniod mode is made for heavy sleepers – the alarm suggests solving the puzzle and won’t stop until it’s done correctly. Finally, bio alarm is for those who prefer the gentle and slow way of waking up on the correct stage of their sleep. It starts the slight ticks and sounds of nature before the actual alarm time.

SPB Time costs 2 bucks ($1.99) and there’s also a free lite version. In addition to the iPhone version, it’s also available for Windows Mobile devices…
