There’s an explosion of Android smartphones in India. We’re not surprised like at all considering all the opportunities for the handset makers and well… Google (which wants to extend its dominance to mobile phones).
Today we’ll talk about the Motorola Quench XT5 which has been brought to the country by Aircel. Specs wise, this device is almost identical to the XT3 model, launched almost two months ago. The only difference between the two is in the camera – instead of XT3’s 3.2-megapixel one, the XT5 comes with a 5-megapixel camera. Rest of the specs are identical and include a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity support, 600MHz CPU, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. Android 2.1 is running the show…
As for the price, the Motorola Quench XT5 costs 13,990 INR (about $310) at Best Buy India and is available with several Aircel offers, prepaid and post-paid included.
