E-reading app Kobo for iOS devices got another update, allowing users to “interact with books and easily share their love of reading.” In other words, this latest version integrates Instapaper enabling you to save articles and other types of web content to read later. The Instapaper clippings can by synced across all devices — any content saved to Instapaper and stored in the Kobo Library will automatically update in the Instapaper feed.
In addition, Kobo users can now “Like” books and share what they are reading (including passages and notes from any book) with their friends on Facebook.
This release comes on the heels of the recently updated iPad app which got Reading Life capabilities that display statistics about a reader’s habits and preferences, shows activity timelines, and awards achievements for just simply reading.
The Kobo iOS4 applications for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad all come preloaded with 5 FREE eBooks – Alice in Wonderland, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Dracula, The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and Grimm’s Fairy Tales…
