Over the Christmas weekend, my usual flow of app downloads pretty much ground to a slow saunter. I’m usually purchasing and downloading apps on a somewhat frequent basis, but with friends and family all around, it was clearly time to shift priorities. That said, over the holiday I DID manage to scrape together to try out a few apps on my iPhone… the first of which is called ‘Collider!’. It’s a nifty little puzzle game that I think you’ll enjoy (if you’re into the puzzle genre). Let me explain.
Collider! is a free puzzler that will really get you thinking. The premise of the game? There’s been a ‘miscalculation’ at a power plant, and charged particles are laying around all over the place. It’s up to you to bump like sized positively and negatively charged particles together to remove them. 25 levels of gameplay around found within, and there’s all sorts of pipes, springs, switches and more to help confuse the process. To start each level you’ll be given an inventory of items you can place on the screen. Once placed, hit the play button and watch what happens. Do all of the particles collide and neutralize themselves? Or do you need to ‘rewind’ and make some adjustments to your strategy? It’s all fairly straightforward once you get into it, and the first few levels will ease you into the game. Trust me, it’s good.
The levels get progressively harder (of course) as you make it through the game. I have to admit, I’ve almost completed all of the levels, but for some reason level 19 is giving me a headache. If anyone wants to tip me off to the solution, get in touch with me would ya?
I would like to see more levels and more ‘obstacles’ within the levels… But I highly suspect we’ll see this in a future release… A paid release perhaps? To get your hands on Collider!, go ahead and hit up the iTunes link below.

Note: No iPad app is available for this title yet. It’d be awesome for sure. That said, you can always install on your iPad and blow up the screen x2 for a slightly blurry experience. You gotta do what you gotta do.
