If $149.99 for the HTC Evo Shift 4G sounds too steep for you, Amazon has you covered. The online retailer is offering Sprint’s latest WiMAX-enabled device for $30 less! That’s $119.99, though requires the same (or similar) two-year contract that in addition to voice and texts also includes some mobile data.

Unfortunately, once you commit to the plan and pour out 120 bucks, you’ll still have to wait for 8 to 9 days for the Android smartphone to be shipped.

By now you probably know the Evo Shift 4G is a pretty similar product to the T-Mobile G2 aka HTC Desire Z. It comes with a 3.6-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen (while G2/Desire Z’s screen measures 3.7 inches), WiMAX connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording capability, GPS, an array of “standard for Android” sensors, Bluetooth, while Qualcomm’s 800MHz processor is running the show…
