Real estate startup Zoopla launched a new mobile application for the Android smartphone users, allowing them to simply point their phone around the neighborhood they like and see the houses which are available for sale and/or rent. The application, which until recently was an iPhone thing only, also comes with other cool features such as the ability to compare house prices in the same street, view current estimates and historical house prices and other market data.
In total, with Zoopla installed on your phone, you will have access to the company’s 27 million strong property database, which you can also browse in more traditional ways such as the list view and map-led search.
Once you find something of interest, there are two “call to action” buttons, one which calls and the other one emails an estate agent. Presumably this is where the leads are created and this is how Zoopla is making its money.
