After the UK, Samsung is bringing the Wave II to India. I doubt too many Indians will rejoice to find that out, but what do I know. The Korean company is far from using all of its capacities to promote the new platform – Bada. The reason for that is obvious – they also make some excellent Android devices while at the same time experimenting with Windows Phone 7, but I digress.
Anyway, if you’re one of “not that many” users interested in the first Bada 1.2-running smartphone prepare to pour out Rs. 20,900 (about $459), which is Wave II’s official sticker price. However, it is said that many retailers in the country are offering the same product for Rs. 17,000 ($373) and that seems as a reasonable price for such a phone.
Specs wise, the Wave II comes with a 3.7-inch Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen (WVGA), 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording capability, media player with DivX/Xvid playback support, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and a memory card slot.
