A couple of late night BlackBerry OS updates for you folks tonight. One is very official, the second… well, it’s not so official (a leak).
First off comes OS 6.0.0.380 for the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. It comes to us via Aircel, and yes, it’s official all the way. To get started, you can download the operating system right here. Remember, if you’re an Aircel user things should work just fine and dandy… but if you’re on another carrier, be sure to delete the vendor.xml file before installing. If you have no idea what that means… you may want to skip installation this time ’round. 🙂
Second comes a leaked OS, 6.0.0.466 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650. As per usual, download and installation is done at your own risk. That said, if you install, be sure to let us know if you find any marked changes or improvements in this build. To get started, you can grab it right here.
