Zagat for Android updated with Foodspotting dish photos, Foursquare meal tips

Zagat Survey has updated its Android application with few handy features, including:

  • Foodspotting dish photos – so you could see how meals look like before actually visiting a restaurant.
  • Foursquare integration – which brings meal tips based on other like-minded diners’ menu choices.

In addition, the application has been re-designed to make it even easier to browse around and share stuff with friends.

Zagat’s mobile apps provide access to the company’s premium ratings and reviews for thousands of restaurants worldwide, helping people “make smart decisions about where to eat.” You can either find a restaurant with “Advanced Search” or look for “Nearby” places.

And if you’re in the group which doesn’t like to pay for restaurant reviews — no matter how good they happen to be — there are always other services like Yelp and UrbanSpoon. Heck, even some general (i.e. navigation or city guides) location-based services like Loopt, TripAdvisor and Telmap feature restaurant ratings and reviews.

You can grab the latest version of Zagat for Android from a link below.
