Although it’s a mid-range smartphone by today’s standards, Nokia C7 is quite an expensive device with above 300 EUR/USD price tag. The price has finally dropped and interested users can now grab it for 299 EUR from Amazon Germany or for 299 GBP from Amazon UK. The latter still keeps the Symbian touchscreen smartphone in the “above 300 EUR” range, but it’s down from the C7’s original price at Amazon.
The Nokia C7 is widely seen as N8’s smaller brother. Unlike the N8’s 12-megapixel camera, the one C7 rocks counts “only” 8 megapixels. Likewise, it also lacks an HDMI port which can be quite handy for beaming all those photos and videos to the big screen.
Rest of the specs are identical though and include such things as 680 MHz ARM 11 processor that is coupled with Broadcom’s BCM2727 GPU, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS and a memory card expansion slot.
Now I guess we won’t have to wait for too long to see the similarly priced Windows Phone devices wearing the Nokia badge…
