Good news for those of you looking forward to get their hands on HP’s TouchPad as the device has got a dedicated page on Amazon.com. No price details were unveiled though, and I guess we’ll find that out in due course.
However, it’s worth pointing out that TouchPad’s page does mention two accessories — a stand and Bluetooth keyboard — like they come/ship with the product. Is that a misspell or just part of HP’s efforts to differentiate its tablet from competing Android products and the iPad 2? Hopefully it’s the latter and (again) hopefully that bundling of accessories won’t affect the price too much.
You may know that HP’s baby rocks an iPad-like 9.7-inch (1024×768 pixels) touchscreen, Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of built-in storage, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera (for video calls), 2 USB ports, Bluetooth and so on. The rumor is that it may be available as soon as next month. Can’t wait. 😉
