Whatser for iPhone

Whatser, the mobile location-based service we’ve already covered for few times in the past, updated its iPhone app.

The first thing you’ll notice is a revamped user interface, but that’s just a start. There are other things included in this release, as well:

  • Activity stream – allows users to follow what their friends are doing on Whatser. You will be able to see which spots your friends add, which photos they upload and what’s happening within your city in real time — all from a single place.
  • Suggestions – the algorithm which the suggestions are based on has been improved and is said to offer “even better and more personally relevant suggestions to users.”
  • Photos – users can now upload their photos to their favorite spots.
  • Reviews – you can now add two cents to each spot which is part of your collection.

As a reminder, Whatser lets users collect their favorite spots, share them with their friends and “make the city their own.” It is available as a free download and you can grab it from a link below.
