Poynt, the location-based search app, has found its way onto Nokia’s Qt operating system today, following on successful BlackBerry, Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone 7 products. Support geographies for the Qt app include Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia
Poynt not only helps you find the lowest nearby gas prices, closest restaurant, and businesses, there are lots of secondary functions that really help flesh out the experience. You can watch trailers for movies, reserve restaurant tables, or get directions to businesses.
Nokia may be going all-in with Windows Phone, but there’s still a hefty installed based of Qt-capable phones out there that Poynt will no doubt appeal to.
If you’ve got a Nokia phone, you can find Poynt in the Ovi Store.
