Tapjoy to help social app developers make money

Social gaming networks are going crazy these days. Already we’ve seen OpenFeint and Scoreloop announcing their plans to support mobile game developers and now Tapjoy is joining the party, too.

The company announced a program for independent developers to turn their social, mobile and tablet games into popular, profitable titles. Tapjoy will help fund the growth of promising early-stage and pre-launch games by relying on its distribution and monetization platform and by investing capital and resources to support the game’s development. Selected games — based on the quality of the gaming experience and the talent of its developers — will receive dedicated monthly marketing credits for new user acquisitions through Tapjoy’s network.

Developers interested in applying for the program should visit this page at Tapjoy’s website.

Tapjoy has more than 200 million mobile consumers and 100 million social gamers in its network. It has already served as the primary distribution partner for hundreds of apps from top iOS and Android developers.
