Good news for the Android smartphone ownin’ liberals among our readers. After launching mobile apps for the iPhone and iPad, Slate is finally out with the version of its app made for devices running Google’s mobile OS.
Available as a free download — with Slate getting its money from Volkswagen sponsorship — the application provides users with access to the latest articles, blogs, illustrations and photos. Moreover, there’s the option to stream Slate’s popular podcasts right from within the app, as well built-in sharing capabilities.
Like an article just don’t have time to read at the moment? Save it to read later, either offline or on Instapaper.
What’s else to say. Grab Slate for Android now. 😉
