Leaked documents from Verizon Wireless’ internal system verify earlier information about the Droid Incredible 2, an upcoming Android handset. The internal documents list the handset as having both a CDMA and a GSM radio for connectivity when home or abroad and a dual-camera configuration that includes an 8-megapixel rear shooter and front facing .3-megapixel webcam. The Droid Incredible 2 will ship with a 16 GB microSD and the ability to connect to other devices using DLNA. A unified email and address book feature names Sync & Connect will go live on April 12th, a date that hints we wont see the Droid Incredible 2 until after that date.

The Droid Incredible 2 is the CDMA variant of the recently announced Incredible S and as such may include the following specs:

  • 4-inch WVGA TFT display
  • 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor
  • 1 GB internal storage
  • CDMA/GSM World phone connectivity
  • 768 MB of RAM
  • Rear 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash
  • Front-facing 1.3MP camera for video calling
  • 720p video recording
  • Rotating capacitive buttons
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi b/g/n
  • 1450 mAh battery
  • micro-USB

The original Droid Incredible is supposedly on Verizon’s end of life list and is being cleared out to make room for its successor. While we don’t have an official launch date, look for this handset to grace the shelves of Verizon Wireless soon.
