ScanLife Barcode Jackpot rewards users to scanning Coke and Pepsi cans

As part of a plan which seems envisioned to get more users to scan barcodes, ScanLife is organizing a neat campaign, rewarding users for scanning Coke and Pepsi barcodes.

In order to participate, you’ll have to download the ScanLife app on your phone and then scan UPC codes on a 12 oz. can, or a 16 oz. bottle of Coke or Pepsi. The more codes you scan, the better chance you have to win – it’s that easy.

ScanLife said that winners will be announced daily and will be able choose from a variety of Gift Cards from major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Macy’s and more.

There is a small problem, however. They only mentioned Android, iPhone and BlackBerry platforms, but their app is also available on other phones. Not sure whether the contest is good for users of these devices only or anyone can participate…

Happy scanning!
