Next week, Nokia plans on holding some kind of event or meeting in Athens, Greece, but there aren’t too many more details on what might be going on out there. The last time we saw one of these save-the-date invites, we didn’t really hear any big news from the Finnish manufacturer. So we’re going to keep our reservations about this one. However, since it has been some time since the Windows Phone 7 announcement and partnership with Microsoft, we’re hoping to see some hardware announcements, too.
Whatever it is, here’s to hoping that Nokia makes some big moves to steal a bit of the thunder it lost to Apple and the iPhone in western Europe.

Update: Sadly it’s been confirmed that this event is nothing more than the launch of the E6 and X7 for the Athens market.
