The Apple iPad and other tablets have the potential to be strong business tools but you’re going to need to get the right software on there. That’s where the Office2 (Office “squared”) HD 4.0 Suite may come in, as the productivity suite for the iPad has just added Powerpoint capabilities.
While this isn’t the only productivity app for hte iPad, the Office2 HD 4.0 app does offer a lot of functionality for its $7.99 price tag. The new version allows you to download, edit, create, save and transfer Powerpoint documents via e-mail, USB or multiple other cloud services.
Additionally, the Office2 HD 4.0 app offers:
Cloud Storage Support – Upload documents to your existing Box.net, MobileMe, Google, DropBox, and MyDisk
‘Legacy’ File Support – Office2 HD supports Microsoft Office 2010 and 2003 file formats including .doc, .docx, .xls, and .ppt.
Adobe Reader Support – In addition to Microsoft office file formats, Office2 HD supports the ability to read and create Adobe .pdfs
