Need to rent a jet? Yes, there’s even an app for that!

We get the idea – there’s an app for pretty much everything one could imagine. To that end we bring you the story involving Chapman Freeborn and their new mobile app that allows super rich executives to rent a jet from their iOS-based devices.

Those unfamiliar, myself included, should know Chapman Freeborn is the world’s largest aircraft charter broker. Their iPhone app, called Private Jet, is made to give users immediate access to thousands of aircrafts worldwide.

Within seconds of a search, the application returns a selection of aircraft options along with all the details, including high-resolution photos, flight times, fuel stops as well as indicative quotes according to live market information. In addition — and since jet renting can’t be a fully automated business — Private Jet also allows customers to submit their request direct from their handset to Chapman Freeborn’s global offices.

Now I can only hope there are few IntoMobile readers who will actually use this app. If you happen to be one of them, please also consider sponsoring our site. 😉
