YouMail updated its Visual Voicemail Plus application for iOS-based devices. There are two major features included in this release, including:

  • In-App Community Greetings – allowing users to browse, search and add any of tens of thousands of user-provided greetings all from within the app itself.
  • Number Search – powered by Google mobile search, YouMail can now find out exactly who is leaving you messages, and whether or not they should be blocked forever. In order to take advantage of this feature, you should click on the new magnifying glass on the voicemail playing page to search for more info on the caller’s phone number.

YouMail is available to post-paid mobile users in the US on all major carriers including AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile. Moreover, the service can also be used to unify a user’s mobile voicemail with their voice messages from VOIP service providers such as Google Voice, MagicJack, OOMA, and Vonage.
