Location-based app Whatser allows brands to engage with their customers while on the go

Whatser, the location-based application which we’ve already covered in the past, launched a new service for brands, allowing them to host a collection of favorite spots on Whatser.

The first company to take advantage of this service is Bugaboo, which collection hosts such spots as parks, shops, museums, cafés, restaurants and playgrounds that “cater to modern parents on the move.” The collection features more than 350 spots in few cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.

I like the concept of such non-intrusive marketing where companies have to think thoroughly what their customers are all about. And if they [companies] happen to make right choices, customers will love them even more.

Bugaboo is apparently “all about inspiring people to get out and explore the world,” or that’s at least what the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Madeleen Klaasen, wants us to think. I do like the spots they’ve picked and think they may be using this new medium properly. What do you say?
