To celebrate her new album “Born This Way,” Lady Gaga and Interscope Records have teamed up with New York City-based Appetizer Mobile to release an iPhone app titled “Lady Gaga: The Monster In You.”
Available for 99 cents from the AppStore, the application allows Lady Gaga fans to morph into “Little Monsters.” You do that by selecting a photo and by using a simple set of markers to automatically apply prosthetic makeup, horns and lipstick. The end result may look funny or creepy, depending on your artistic talent and well, guy or gal on the photo. In any case, you will be able to share the newly created image with friends via Twitter, Facebook and email.
And that’s about it. Not sure it’s worth a buck in today’s app economy, but what do I know. Future updates will include an interactive “Monster Globe” and an Android app. In the meantime, iGaga fans can grab the “The Monster In You” by clicking on the link below.
