The mind-mapping company Mindjet announced the upcoming availability of MindManager for iPhone and MindManager for iPad. The two apps, set to be released on June 15th, will cost $6.99 and $8.99 respectively, allowing users to sketch ideas and connect the dots while on the go.
The new mobile apps will be launched alongside MindManager 9 for Mac and are made to help users make and manage their mind maps across multiple platforms (PC/Mac, Web and mobile). Feature wise, MindManager for iOS will come with fast finger-slide topic creation, drag and drop functionality, in-context menu (cut, paste and delete topics), Dropbox integration and the ability to easily browse large maps.
Going forward, Mindjet promised to “aggressively” develop its mobile application platform, including increased functionality, integrations with Mindjet web services and “unsurpassed compatibility with the industry standard Mindjet map format.”
So what can we say? I love mind maps and I’m glad to see them “moving” to smartphones and tablets…
