LastPass for Windows Phone 7 gets a small update

If you a) use LastPass on your computer (and you should), and b) have a Windows Phone 7 device, you’ll be glad to know that the smartphone application for Microsoft’s mobile platform has been updated. The new release comes with a number of bug fixes, including improved support for multitasking.

Moreover there’s the so much needed Copy/Paste support that allows you to use LastPass to login to other apps and transfer data to other locations. To take advantage of this, simply login to your account to launch your vault and from there you will be able to access site entries in the “details mode.” Now when you edit passwords, you will be able to tap the three dots icon to show a password and from there you can copy it and paste it in another app. It may sound complicated but it’s really pretty easy and that’s pretty much how you would move your passwords on a computer.

Finally, LastPass folks promised to further improve their Windows Phone 7 app with new features, such as grouping of sites.
