SouthernLINC Wireless added two Motorola phones to its portfolio – i475 Clutch and i420, which are the first phones offered by the carrier that come with integrated FM radio. In addition, both device feature voice-activated dialing, Bluetooth connectivity, VGA camera with digital zoom, GPS, push-to-talk capability and LINCaround off-network service that allows users to manually transfer their phones to an off-network, two-way radio communication mode.
When it comes to specifics, the i475 Clutch is a candybar with a 2-inch screen and full QWERTY keyboard making it ideal for heavy texters, while the i420 is a clamshell-shaped device made for folks who want an “uncomplicated phone for text and picture messaging as well as cellular and PTT calls.” It [i420] sports a 1.8-inch internal screen and small external display for caller ID and other notifications.
