Orange and ZTE have a pleasant surprise for all the Orange San Francisco (aka ZTE Blade) owners out the there. The Taiwanese handset maker and the France Telecom-owned operator will release the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the popular device which is available for 99 GBP (plus a 20 GBP top-up) on Pay as you go. The new firmware version is set to be launched in the “last week of June” which means the San Francisco users can get it as early as next week, maybe even during the weekend.
As you probably know, Froyo adds a ton of new features, including Microsoft Exchange support, improved web browsing experience, Adobe Flash and a number of other changes under the hood that will ultimately make your phone run faster.
