Few days ago we mentioned that Android 2.3 Gingerbread updates have started rolling out for Orange UK customers and now we have the local branch of Three joining the party. The carrier simply tweeted:
The Desire HD update is now ready for OTA upgrade.
Super straight-forward and just the way we like it.
Needless to say, we advise you to push the button the second your Desire HD notifies you that an update is available. You do want the latest bells and whistles running on your big smartphone, right? For one thing you should appreciate the much improved Copy/Paste functionality that will actually make you edit big documents while on the go. Moreover there are a number of performance enhancements under the hood, couple of new features and so on…
Ready? Hit “Settings” -> “About phone” -> “System software updates” and then “Check now.” Don’t be sad if the update doesn’t show up – it will be available soon.
