Cricket’s Muve Music scheme is obviously working both for the carrier and its customers. If you recall, it’s the first unlimited music service to be included as part of a wireless rate plan which has been tried out by more than 100,000 customers in just five months. More than 50% of all those people are new to Cricket, the fact that according to the carrier “demonstrates its broad marketplace appeal.”

And that’s not all. Cricket also unveiled some other cool figures:

  • 2-3 hours is what a typical Muve Music customer spends a day listening to music.
  • 400 is the number of songs customers download per month.
  • More than 100 million songs have been downloaded by Muve Music customers thus far.
  • Over 100 million song plays took place in the month of May alone.
  • 99% of Muve Music customers download and play songs on their phone (Samsung Suede) every month.
  • More than two-thirds have at least one active ringtone and ringback tone set in the service.

What can I say except to congratulate Cricket for finding its niche. Way to go folks! 🙂
