Good news if you’re a) living or working in the UK; b) looking to grab yourself the LG Optimus 3D from Orange. As you may know, LG’s baby is already available from The Carphone Warehouse and comes pre-loaded with few specially optimized 3D games from Gameloft, but if you want it with an Orange contract – you’ll soon be able to do that, too. The France Telecom-owned operator now lists the world’s first 3D-enabled Android smartphone on its “coming soon” pages, without specifying the exact release date. The good news is that Orange says the Optimus 3D will be available “from free” which in this case means putting your signature on a two-year 35 GBP a month (or so) contract. Of course, that money will also get you tons of minutes and messages, along with a decent chunk of mobile data to be used every month. I’m actually speculating but that’s how high-end phones are sold these days. Here’s a link to the mentioned page at Orange’s website from where you can’t actually get additional details. 😉
