We’ve already talked about upcoming affordable AnyPad tablets in the past. Now we have the official specs and the first demo video to show you. Plus the release date – the AndyPad will be launched on September 1st.
There will be two versions – the “normal” one and the “Pro.” The first model will retail for 129 GBP, sporting a 7-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen, front-facing camera and 8GB of built-in storage; while the second one will go for 50 GBP more, packing a much better 7-inch 1024×600 pixels SensaTouch display (capacitive touchscreen?), Bluetooth connectivity support, two cameras (one on the back and front-facing one), HDMI out and 16GB of storage. In addition, both devices will pack a Cortex A8 1.2GHz processor under the hood, as well as 512MB of RAM and a microSD memory card slot.
In a nutshell, with such aggressive pricing, AndyPad may actually have a chance to compete on the increasingly crowded tablet market. You can check out how one of their tablet looks like from a short video below. Enjoy!
