Groupon may be the new darling of the market but it does come with one problem as far as users are concerned – it presents them with deals for stuff they don’t necessarily need or want. Enter Zorate, the online voucher company, which launched a new iPhone app, bringing “Discounts on Demand” to the mobile users.
The application, called Zorate zApp, consists of several parts including:
- zTracker – it’s like a personal shopping assistant that allows you to select the category and mile range, to help you find deals that you actually want when you’re nearby.
- Zooting – which allows consumers to communicate directly to businesses about the discounts they want and when they want them.
- zSearch – searches for discounts in a city, then displays them for easy browsing.
- zCalendar – adds ability to organize your spending by storing a deal in the so called zCalendar.
- Check In – connected to Facebook, the Check In feature shows friends where the hot deals are.
- Redeem & Share – By simply sharing the discount on your Facebook page, you may save even more without your friends needing to buy anything.
Zorate zApp is launching in Las Vegas with other cities across America to follow shortly. The company will host a special launch party on August 2nd at the Blue Martini Bar in Town Square…
