The folks at Boxee have just released a new media manager app for the iPad and this aims to turn your Apple tablet into an even stronger media machine.
Boxee is a company which creates software which finds most video content on the web and organizes it into a pretty interface. The company fist gained a lot of buzz with its computer software but its Boxee Box (hardware for your TV) hasn’t been exactly setting the world on fire. The Boxee iPad app may help turn around the company’s fortunes.
The Boxee iPad app’s coolest feature is the ability to send videos from your PC to your iPad wirelessly without having to slog through conversion processes. If you have the Boxee Box, you can also throw videos from your iPad to your television. The app also includes social networking capabilities, the ability to save videos for later and a featured list.
That’s all well and good but if you don’t have an Apple tablet, you may feel left out. Luckily, Boxee has your back and it will be giving away some iPad just for liking its Facebook page.
