Thus far Google Movies aka Videos app was only available for select Honeycomb tablets. Then we’ve noticed that some Samsung Galaxy Tab users spotted a new Videos tab on the Android Market, and now the search giant’s video renting service is available to pretty much any Android smartphone user, presuming his or her device runs Froyo or Gingerbread.

If you recall, the Videos app allows you to stream movies while on the go. There’s also the offline mode when clips are downloaded in advance and can be played at a later point when you may not have a working mobile data connection. Moreover, the application also features the Personal Videos section which aggregates all of the clips taken from your device. Of course, if you’re not on an unlimited plan you can fine-tune the app to make downloads happen only when you’re in a hotspot.

At the moment, you can choose between thousands of movie titles with more coming soon… Hit the link below to get some additional entertainment while on-the-go. 😉
