Motorola DEFY+, which is an updated version of Moto’s rugged Android smartphone, is heading to the UK, where it will land later this month. We don’t have the exact launch date, nor which carriers will get to offer the DEFY+ and can only hope the wait will be over in the next couple of days.
As far as I can tell, if Moto’s baby ends-up in some carrier’s portfolio, it will be offered for free on plans starting at about 30 GBP per month. Heck, even the unlocked version shouldn’t cost more than 300 GBP, most likely less.
When compared to the original DEFY, DEFY+ comes with a faster 1GHz processor (vs 800MHz), while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. Rest of the specs are pretty much unchanged and include HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot.
