EmotivePush ringtone technology, from Emotive Communications Inc., lets you decide what ringtone your call-recipient will hear. A fresh infusion of $7.7 million from investors gave Emotive the legs to run with their push technology – which will temporarily override your own ringtone and force you to listen to and even watch whatever your caller chooses. That’s right, you can even push video clips to your friends’ cell phones. And, should you find the ringtone or video clip more interesting than annoying, you can buy the pushed media right on the spot!
