If you’re like George Costanza, you could really use the upcoming Google Wallet, the company is saying in this cute viral video.
As you may or may not know, Google Wallet is Google’s attempt to bring NFC payments to the masses in the United States and it will enable things like tap-to-pay, as well as keeping track of your loyalty cards all from your phone. The Seinfeld character George Costanza was known to carry such a massive wallet that was filled with all sorts of things – money, receipts, pictures and even sugar packets.
The NFC mobile payment space is heating up, as ISIS is gearing up to go with all four major credit card companies but I doubt it will have the Seinfeld cast shilling for it. On a separate note, I just re-watched some Seinfeld episodes recently and it’s still a funny show even with the whole Kramer-is-probably-a-secret-racist angle.
Check out the Google Wallet video below and then a video of what makes George Costanza so great.
