As part of efforts to promote its super-fast LTE network, Verizon Wireless has teamed-up with FuzeBox to launch Fuze Meeting, a technology solution to bring cloud-based HD content collaboration and multi-party video conferencing to businesses. The new service will be available via the Business Solutions Alliance (BSA) Program, providing users with the ability to start multi-party HD video conferences from their smartphones, while also being able to add documents for cross-platform content collaboration from virtually everywhere.

Sounds cool, but who could benefit from such a service. Here’s what the press release says about that:

The Fuze Meeting video conference solution can provide benefits to customers across a number of industries, including professional services, healthcare, education and finance. For example, in the healthcare industry, medical staff can remotely access patient X-rays, obtain live video consultation with doctors, and instantly collaborate with a pool of experts through video conferencing capabilities. In the creative services industry, agencies can review comps and graphics in real time with their clients, and, in turn, can make annotations to provide feedback, thereby saving time and delivering the campaign quicker.
