Supposed list of Nexus Prime system applications leaked, definitely Verizon-bound

While we’re expecting more than one device, apparently the APK list of the Nexus Prime has leaked out for the world to see. Whether or not this means that the Nexus Prime will be an exclusive Verizon device alongside the Droid Prime remains to be seen but we can only hope that the handset will also see releases on other carriers sometime this year.

The list reads a little something like this:

Other than dedicated Verizon Wireless APN applications, there appears to be no bloatware whatsoever, or any other indications of Verizon at all. This is very much a good thing but the rumors that one of these “Prime” devices will not ship with stock Android, but a custom skin, still have us expecting another device in the mix. Whatever comes of the Nexus Prime, Galaxy Nexus, Droid Prime, or whatever the hell it will be called, we can at least pretty much confirm that the next Nexus handset will be landing at Verizon at some point.

Hopefully Google will go the way of the Galaxy S line and release its next Nexus handset on every carrier because the only thing that will keep me from grabbing it is an exclusive deal with Verizon. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with Big Red and many people are very happy to hear that the Nexus Prime may land on the carrier but I’m rooting for some availability on Sprint.

We’re a little less than two weeks away from when Google and Samsung take the stage to announce something big for the Android world. Be it a Nexus or two, we’re excited. So which are you more excited about between the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich?
