Evernote doesn’t waste time at all. Soon after the iPhone 4S has been announced I got an email from them to check out the brand new version of their iOS app. Yep it has been optimized to sing along the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS (iOS 5), while also packing some other neat enhancements, including:

  • Improved formatting – which now better handles complex notes with elements that cannot be edited. This process preserves many of the elements in the note, while removing others (tables, fonts and CSS styles). Moreover, fonts are better handled while encrypted elements appear in-line.
  • Ability to grant others editing rights to your notebooks for Premium users.
  • Checkbox support – allows making of lists, to-dos and so on.

And that’s just a start. Evernote’s blog post ends with a promise that additional updates will be released in the near future, making our favorite note-taking service even better. Can’t wait for the next Android app update. 😉
