Independent mobile video service Vuclip unveiled its monthly Global Video Insights Report for September. From there we learn that (unsurprisingly) celebrities continue to hold most of the top spots, but WWE (formerly WorldWrestling Entertainment) has made an entry onto the list at the number two position. Additionally, the top slot for number of video views is held by a news report of a house that had been infested by bees for more than ten years.
Without further ado, here are the top U.S. mobile video searches for September 2011:
- Britney Spears
- WWE
- Lindsay Lohan
- Beyoncé
- Justin Bieber
- Kim Kardashian
- Katy Perry
- Rihanna
- Harry Potter
- Shakira
The top five mobile videos viewed in the U.S. during the same month included:
- Bees Turned House Into Hive for 10 Years, a news report by CNN
- Tiny Croc Makes Splash in Aussie Pool, published by AP
- Sick Glow In The Dark Rims On BMW 7 Series!, user generated content focused on tire rims
- September 11 2001 Tribute: Before and After 9/11, a report published by WatchMojo.com
- Justin Bieber Admits Wearing Women’s Pants, celebrity content posted by Hollywood Backstage
