Spotify launched a MeeGo app for the very limited number of Nokia N9 users. The application allows you to access the popular music streaming service while on the go. For a low monthly subscription of $9.99 (or 9.99 EUR) you get to stream songs from Spotify’s huge catalog with the option to store some of the tunes offline and access them in areas where there’s no Internet signal around.

According to the app’s official description at Ovi Store, Spotify for MeeGo is developed and maintained by “NOKIA in cooperation with Spotify,” hinting us the Finnish company is helping companies port their apps to MeeGo to make the N9 more interesting to the end users — i.e. providing them with more apps.
