Social gaming company SGN, which we know for its iBowl and iGolf games, is launching another title for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users – iBaseball. Like its previous games, iBaseball also leverages the built-in accelerometer to let baseball fans practice their baseball pitches and hitting on-the-go.
iBaseball allows players to play an inning of baseball as the pitcher and a hitter. As a pitcher, players have the opportunity to pitch to three batters with a fastball or curveball. As a batter, players try for as many hits as possible in a single inning.
Along with the new game launch, SGN also announced Global Leader Boards for all three of its iPhone games — iGolf, iBowl and iBaseball — enabling players from around the world to compete against each other and have their names and high-scores displayed in a global venue.
To give iBaseball a try, download it from AppStore. The game costs only a buck ($0.99) and will certainly make your commuting/waiting in a queue more entertaining.
