Well what do you, despite the fact that its Optimus Pad isn’t meeting sales expectations, LG won’t give up on its first Android tablet. As a matter of fact, it will soon start selling the LTE-enabled version of the device in its own backyard.
The LG Optimus Pad LTE has been caught in Korea where we’re hearing LG U+ will offer it to its subscribers. And while we don’t know the price of the upcoming tablet, it is said that aside from the LTE radio, there’s little new under the hood. Actually, it will ship with a faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor, while the rest of the specs are unchanged (when compared to the original Optimus Pad). There’s 1GB of RAM, 8.9-inch touchscreen, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, couple of gigs of built-in storage (not sure how many gigs though) that can further be expanded with the help of microSD cards.
No word whether this baby will ever leave Korean peninsula…
