Amazon has crossed a long way from its beginnings as the world’s largest bookstore. Today the online retailer is selling all kinds of products and services, effectively opening up many fronts against other companies. This year alone, they’ve launched three new products or service offerings that challenge the market dominance of an established player.
Of course, this isn’t the “pure” mobile news, but it’s pretty much related, considering Amazon now has its own Appstore and also sells the Android-based Kindle Fire. Here’s the infographic illustrating all of the markets Amazon has entered.
In some markets they don’t stand a chance to emerge as a dominant player, while in some others I could easily see them getting a decent market share. What do you think?
