And we thought the Acer Iconia Tab A200 will be an affordable tablet? It may turn to be the case but not in Russia where, according to Mobile-Review, it will sell for 14,990 rubles (about $470).
Yep it’s the same 10.1-inch device with a dual-core processor we’ve seen getting FCC’s seal of approval in October of this year. And again — considering the Asus Transformer Prime with quad-core processor will soon hit the market — we thought it will be cheaper. In comparison, Asus’ baby costs just $30 more, making for an awesome deal, hardware wise.
Anyway, we’re hoping Acer will adjust the price even before the tablet starts selling. Moreover, I would expect it to be offered for up to $100 less in the ever-competitive U.S. market. We’ll definitely watch where this goes and let you know as soon as we hear something new, like the A200’s price in parts of Europe. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
