While the LG Optimus Black is not the high-end device as it used to be, it’s still pretty solid Android smartphone. No contract signing required at all — you are free to choose the carrier and plan you like the most.
Specs wise, LG’s baby rocks a 4-inch WVGA Nova display, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, dual-cameras (with LED flash on the rear one), GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. Unfortunately, it ships with Android 2.2 Froyo on board, but that’s not a problem since the Gingerbread update is rolling out as we speak…
