First let me make few things clear:
- Tizi is a Slingbox-like box that streams TV broadcasts to just about any device,
- It’s available in Germany (and I guess some other European markets), not in the U.S.
And it got a new iOS app and an iPad dongle that lets users beam TV content to their beloved tablet, while allowing them to control the TV programs using their iPhones. It sounds kinda complicated but it’s really pretty simple:
- Connect the dongle to your iPad
- Use your iPhone to flip through channels, pause live TV (Timeshift), and record favorite shows.
For those of you who bought the brand new iPhone 4S, there’s an extra gimmick included – you can use the “power of Siri” to do all these things without tapping a single button. All you have to do it speak the command to the iPhone and it will do what needs to be done. It’s that easy, as you’re about to see from the following demo video. It’s in German, but you’ll get the point, nonetheless.
