Verizon and Motorola teamed up today to finally announce the Droid 4. The carrier is touting the handset as the “thinnest and more powerful 4G LTE Qwerty smartphone” in Verizon Wireless’ lineup and the specs appear to support this claim.
The Droid 4 is a razor-thin half-inch thick and sports a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080P video capture, 4.0-inch qHD display, 16 GB onboard storage, microSD expansion up to 32 GB, a five-row QWERTY keyboard with edge-lit keys and Android 2.5.3 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
