We’ve seen a number of credit card processing solutions for the iPhone and Android, but what about BlackBerry? CHARGE Anywhere thinks this is untapped market and is out with the Audio Jack Magnetic Card Reader, allowing RIM device owners to easily accept credit cards while on the go.

Compatible with CHARGE Anywhere’s Mobile Payment Application for BlackBerry and the PCI DSS Level 1 payment gateway – ComsGate, the device is said to provide BlackBerry device owners with the “most cost-effective solution to swipe credit cards anywhere, anytime.” Moreover, the solution permits users to capture and export such business data as signature capture (on touchscreen devices), invoice number, employee number, tips, GPS location and more.

Now the question is whether BlackBerry owners will adopt CHARGE Anywhere’s solution… In the meantime, we bring you the words of the company’s CEO Paul Sabella – she said: “With the CHARGE Anywhere Mobile Payment Application for BlackBerry, businesses can take advantage of our PCI security, end to end encryption and device management services while effortlessly turning their Sprint, AT&T or Verizon Wireless BlackBerry phone into a secure, mobile point-of-sale terminal.”
